(Jolene
Hilliam)
The
giving away of life.
Her head started to fall,
she suddenly felt so small.
Her mind was drowning,
her face was frowning.
She took another tablet,
this would be the last she bet.
The sad lonely woman lay on the floor,
purposely blocking the door.
Her life was slowly falling away,
she began to silently pray.
The thoughts of life left her,
goodbye she started to murmour.
Her eyes closed down,
her face no longer a frown.
This death was not kind,
the pain remained with those whom she left behind.
She had taken her own life,
because she could't handle all the strife.
She knew what she was doing was wrong,
yet she just couldn't stay strong.
Gone now way above,
to where she thought she would find some love.
Where her pain would cease,
and finally she would be at peace.
There was a depth of darkness,
and then just a lonely blackness.
Death had come,
was this how it was for some?
